I’m a researcher, educator, and dramaturg working at the intersection of digital humanities, classics, translation, theatre, and performance studies. I am currently Research Collaborator on the Oxford-based DH project Exploring Digital Futures, where I focus on performance-annotation tools, and holder of a BA/Leverhulme grant (2025-2027) combining archival research, textual analysis, and performance practice to study translations of Greek drama at the Strasbourg Gymnasium (1540–1609).

With a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford and teaching experience across the UK (UCL & Oxford), Italy (Milan, Parma, Trento), and the US (Notre Dame, Indiana), my research focuses on translation, reception, and the politics of performance — particularly in early modern and fascist contexts.
My creative practice bridges scholarship and performance: as a dramaturg and translator, I collaborate with directors and performers across Europe to reimagine ancient drama for contemporary audiences. From international workshops and inclusive theatre projects to education programmes and podcasting, I use performance as both a critical lens and creative tool.

I offer tailored tutoring in Ancient Greek, Latin, English, Italian, and Drama, drawing on over a decade of teaching at Oxford, UCL, and beyond. With a D.Phil in Classical Languages and Literature and experience spanning beginners’ language courses, advanced translation seminars, performance-based workshops, and admissions (at both Oxford and UCL), I help students build confidence and depth in both language and literature. My approach combines rigour with creativity – balancing grammar and vocabulary with close reading, historical context, and performance insight – to support exam preparation, university applications, and general enrichment.
