I work with schools, theatres, and cultural institutions to make classical stories accessible and relevant today. From designing workshops and resources to hosting public conversations and inclusive performances, I help bring academic ideas to life beyond the classroom.
Bridging academia and the public is at the heart of my work. I believe that theatre, storytelling, and performance are powerful tools for making ancient literature accessible, relevant, and engagingto diverse audiences—whether students, professional actors, educators, or the wider public.
Making Classics Accessible & Interactive

I explore creative ways to retell ancient Greek and Roman stories through practice-based research and performance. Key initiatives include

Transferable Skills

Through public engagement and performance, I bridge research and creative practice to make classical studies accessible and engaging. My expertise spans teaching, theatre, digital content, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Bringing Classics into Public Spaces

I have spearheaded initiatives to take classics beyond the classroom, engaging schools, museums, and theatre companies:

Outreach Workshops – Developed interactive sessions for secondary schools, involving theatre practice, storytelling and archival practice in schools all over the UK and Italy

Digital Engagement – Co-founded and contributed to APGRD Podcast, and UCL ‘Ancient World: New Voices’ podcast, talking about archival items, performance pieces, and more with speakers from the theatrical, academic and artistic realms

Interactive Theatre Archives – Worked on the digital preservation of theatre performances, ensuring historical productions remain available to the public, including UCL’s Classical Play Archive
